Dear Olmert,
I want to begin this letter with congratulations for selecting a new leader for the military through a process that appears unmuddled and even respectable! This is the way: solve small problems to leave you free to courageously face big problems.
Now, we're up against big problems: Inventing breakthroughs for peace and security of the people of Israel, inspiring Israelies to see what is possible for them, earning the trust of citizens, creating an atmosphere of hope, etc... Face these challenges courageously.
And courage, said a great man, happens when you are afraid and act despite your fear.
