Dear Olmert,
Happy New Year. Is it happy? I don't know. You were on Israeli television this evening, on the Yatzpan show in a rare interview. You came across as relaxed and jovial. Promising. Then I found out that you taped this interview just before your meeting with Abu Mazen, President of the Palestinian Authority. I suppose it is good you have the time for humurous interviews before meeting the Palestinian leader. I suppose it is good you are so relaxed. I cannot but wish to see you tense, in anticipation of an significant meeting. Or is meeting Abu Mazen for the first time since you met more than a month in Annapolis - insignificant?
In other words, I want more hurry. We are in 2008 already. We are celebrating 60 years of independence this years. Let's go! Let's create a reality of independence from our fears, our inhibitions, our insecurities. Let's create a reality of independence for Palestinians. Let's do that THIS year. Let's start now!
Wishing you and us blissful results in 2008,
Anonymo(us)
