What are you thinking about?

Dear Olmert,

You are enroute from Israel to the Washington, DC. I wonder: as you fly what are you thinking about as you fly against time across the Atlantic.

Are you thinking of Tommy Lapid, your friend who was laid to rest today? Are you wondering if your scandal of money envelopes will follow you to the US?

Perhaps Iran is on your mind after Ahmadinejad today suggested that Israel would "disappear". And maybe you are looking forward to your US visit and are thinking of your 'unusual' friend, President Bush.

I hope you are sleeping! Why First because you will need the energy to get through this 80 hour visit. And second because with so much trouble at home you must be exhausted. And you cannot afford to make mistakes. If you are awake, I hope you are thinking of what is possible for Israelis and Palestinians. I salute your meeting today with Palestinian President Abu Mazen.

Wishing you a comfortable flight. Wishing us peace and quiet, and good news,

Anonymo(us)
