Mimouna illusions

(צילום: צפריר אביוב)

Dear Olmert,

So you know how to celebrate the Mimuna, the traditional North African Jewish holiday celebrating the end of Passover. In celebrating Mimouna last night, you let slip: "we can safely say that the Israeli people know that their government can protect them and a leadership that can safeguard their security and their future." Peace protects. Not government.

And you added: "We will continue to make every effort to improve the chances for political settlements." Improving the chances? How about a political settlement themselves?

"We must be realistic and not be tempted by illusions." Well, stop the illusions. Show us progress.
