Opening (and closing) the Knesset

Dear Olmert,

Today at the Knesset, you delivered the traditional opening session speech. Short and sweet. Untradionally, you did not share a vision for matters of state. You shared prospects for the economy. You did not share prospects for peace.

Why? Well, you said it would be improper, with the current political bedlam (Livni leading to early elections). We want reasons for peace prospects, and not reason why we haven't got them.
