Dear Olmert,
You had a meeting with the President of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, scheduled for yesterday and didn't meet him. I was looking forward to this meeting. Why didn't it happen?
Condoleeza Rice push for such meetings on a consistent basis with good reason. They enable both sides to get on the same page - and stay on the same page. These meeting prepare the ground for breakthroughs. And as we commemorate 40 years since we conquered Palestinian territory in the Six-Day War, we need a breakthrough for peace!
Why didn't you meet Mahmoud Abbas? How do you see something positive happening if you can't meet a man face to face? And, when will you meet?
