Consider this...

Dear Olmert,

"I'll consider summit with Arab leaders, PM tells UN chief" is the headline in YNET this morning, and I should tell you that I appreciate the gesture. The article also tells of a message the secretary general will carry from the prime minister to the Saudi king.

I want to know why the prime minister is not communicating with his public. People in Israel and in Palestine want to hear a positive message for peace from the prime minister. The prime minister is talking to everyone else but the people. Only by communicating with his public can he win their support for possible breakthroughs.

People want to know: Does Mr. Olmert have anything to communicate? And when will we hear from him?
